Jade is a writer/director, producer, and stand-up comedian known for crafting bold, character-driven comedy across film, television, and live performance. Blending sharp comedic instincts with a strong cinematic voice, he develops and delivers distinctive projects that balance heart, edge, and commercial appeal. He produced the Crave comedy series I Have Nothing alongside Carolyn Taylor and Mae Martin, and shepherded the four-time Best Feature Award–winning Play Along. A mainstay in the Toronto stand-up community, Jade’s debut comedy special, I’m Special (Not Like That), is set to premiere shortly, with his anticipated feature directorial debut Roads slated for 2026. As a filmmaker, Jade has directed numerous award-winning short films and documentaries. His narrative work includes the romantic comedy After You, starring Andrew Packer and Vance Banzo, as well as Eyes Wide Open and Figures, projects that reflect his focus on intimate performances and emotionally grounded storytelling.

In 2020, he launched an ongoing livestream series spotlighting dynamic voices in film and comedy, featuring guests such as Ralph McDaniels, Erik White, The Soska Sisters, Justin Harding, Manolis Zontanos, and Nathan Griffith. A collaborative and hands-on creative, Jade is recognized for identifying comedic talent, shaping projects from concept through delivery, and building work that resonates across platforms and audiences.
