Jade Yurich is a Canadian filmmaker, writer, director, and comedian whose work spans film, television, live and digital platforms. His feature project Roads was selected as a Directors Guild of Canada (DGC) recommended project for Telefilm’s Talent to Watch initiative, marking him as an emerging voice in Canadian cinema. Rooted in Northern Ontario storytelling, Yurich’s work blends grounded character drama with musical and road-movie sensibilities, often exploring family, identity, and ambition within working-class and regional music cultures.
Professionally, Yurich is a “content powerhouse” with extensive credits across production, post-production, and creative development. He began as an assistant director on features including White Lie, Astronaut, and Brotherhood, and has since worked with Rolling Pictures, IATSE 411, and major productions including Ginny & Georgia, TallBoyz, and The Queen of My Dreams. His credits include producing Crave’s I Have Nothing, post supervising Still Single, and post-coordinating & Sons, alongside commercial work for Budweiser, Bud Light, and Volkswagen. He currently works on Blade Runner 2099.
As a creator, he has directed short films such as After You and Eyes Wide Open, developed comedy projects including Pack of Jokers, and continues to build original film and series work across genres with a focus on authentic, audience-driven Canadian storytelling.
